The projects below were created as part of the Master of Arts in Professional Writing program in the English Department, Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences, at Kennesaw State University, Georgia. 

These projects were created for the MAPW course PRWR 6850: Writing for the Web (Fall 2024).

Professional Statement:

As a professional with a Ph.D. and a diverse background in art, design, technology, and storytelling, I am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Professional Writing, with a concentration on Creative Writing, at Kennesaw State University, Georgia. 

My commitment to continuous learning and creative expression shapes my journey. Currently working in the technology sector, my past experience as an academic, combined with my experience in the art and design fields, has equipped me with a blend of creative, analytical, and technical skills. These experiences motivate me to continuously learn and effectively communicate through both visual and written content, catering to the evolving demands of the technology domain.

My experience spans writing for various platforms, including websites, blogs, and multimedia-rich content, and I aim to enhance the visual and narrative aspects of my writing. With my current studies in writing, I hope to refine further my ability to connect with readers and create impactful narratives. 

In my projects, I aim to combine creativity with functionality to enhance user experience and engagement. As a professional at the intersection of visual and written communication, I aim to craft content that not just informs but also captivates, inspires, and engages.

I am particularly drawn to the challenges of writing for digital platforms, where adapting to the changing technologies, and catering to client and audience needs is crucial. I am passionate about the evolving nature of web writing and enjoy experimenting with different formats. Each project serves as an opportunity to refine my skills, learn from feedback, and expand my understanding of the digital writing landscape.
