Media Garden
Project: To create and/or remix media to cultivate a gallery of online gardens using web content development skills in creative ways that generate stories and attend to a synthesis of multiple media channels in ways unique to the affordances of an online environment.
This project involved coding a site in HTML, and submitting a zip file to gain an understanding of the framework underlying webpages and greater control in how to adapt and edit them, freeing up the possibility to develop web spaces as an “infinite canvas” based on one’s own imagined structure; also considering dimensions of accessibility and copyright when creating and cultivating online media spaces.
The title of this project is "Beautiful Red Roses on a Rainy Day."
The photographs, video, and audio were captured from my own garden and backyard. For the audio, I exported the audio file from a video I had from the garden.
As a gardening enthusiast, I have been capturing nature videos of my garden and I chose to work on the same theme for this HTML project.
The HTML media garden project was created and presented as a zip file.

Beautiful Red Roses on a Rainy Day
Red Roses are Evergreen
Aren't red roses evergreen? Red is such a beautifully vibrant color, and red roses never go out of fashion. While roses are almost always pretty, don't these red roses look prettier in the rain? The transparent raindrops shimmering over the red rose petals combined with the sound of the raindrops are such an amazing sensory experience. This is something beautiful and amazing that we can experience in own own garden. Nature is beautiful.
I can't help but record these beautiful sights and sounds :)

This project was created and edited in phases, from collecting or creating media, mixing, editing and modifying HTML project files (I used Sublime Text) to editing and uploading the final project. There may be slight variations in some terms or text if you are viewing the previous version and the current, which is an updated version in the HTM posted above and the file shared.
